Makin' ze Money (Not really...)

Random photo for a random post

Hello. Happy Sunday. Don't worry, no crazy rantings on the whole Inkpop fiasco. I'm just dropping by to give a little update about the other publishing aspects of my life.

As you may or may have not noticed, there is a little tab at the top of this blog marked 'Abstract Perfection Publishing'. That is my own little publishing house (haha) that I use to put out public domain ebooks on the Nook. I'm only doing it as an experiment and here are the results:

The Princess and the Goblin went live at the end of March and had one sale. Considering I was the buyer (dorky and pointless, I know), that doesn't count as an actual profit.

During the month of April it was bought seven times, making for a whopping $2.80 in sales generated for yours truly. Considering I spent ten bucks on the cover images, it'll still be a while before I break even. As I've said before, making money wasn't really the goal, but knowing that there are now seven people out there who might actually be reading this wonderful book makes me happy.

That is all! I told you it was random! :D

Okay, so I lied about not doing an Inkpop update.
